EUROPEAN LEADERSHIP MEETING

Overview

For the 4th time we were asked to co-develop and implement the three-day cross-functional management meeting of an international pharmaceutical company for around 150 employees from Europe. After Amsterdam, Lisbon and Budapest, this time around Berlin was the chosen venue.

Challenge

This year creativity was once more the order of the day. VMP, building on previous years, came up with the slogan “Better Together – Own Your Future”; the next steps were to devise a meeting logo that chimed with the slogan, spice up the event with creative elements, design the setting for the meeting and develop a suitable team activity.

Solution / outcome / specials / highlights

The VMP team created a winning logo: a superhero flying over a futuristic skyline, including the Fernsehturm (Berlin TV tower) as a nod to the venue location. Using this logo as our starting point, we developed further creative elements: participants posing as superheroes in front of a photo backdrop of the Berlin skyline (with props!), and an Ampelmännchen bag full of giveaways (energy drinks and bars). In addition, we designed a stage back wall made of 150 puzzle pieces. At the beginning of the conference, each of the 150 participants received a piece of the puzzle and over the course of the meeting, the pieces were assembled to reveal the meeting slogan. In the team activities, the participants formed 15 teams and solved a wide variety of tasks in Berlin and took photos as evidence. The highlight at the end of the meeting was a game show created by VMP.

VMP Added Value

Tasked with the overall responsibility for this project, our agency advised the client on content and on creative and logistical issues. Bringing all their ingenuity and imagination to bear, VMP designed and created an original package for a harmonious guest experience. The slogan was writ large over the two days – featuring in the design of the conference room, the print material, the team activity and the final game show.
